Lawrence J. Appice, 76, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2018 at St. Barnabas Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Born and raised in Bronx, NY he had lived in Lake Hiawatha and Parsippany since 1976.
A member of the Teamsters Local #701 of Maspeth, NY, Mr. Appice was a driver with Roadway Express, later YRC Trucking of Brooklyn for many years, He retired three years ago.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Caroline A. (nee Riva); a daughter, Lisa M. Ross and her husband Michael of Mineola, NY; a son, Nicholas Appice and his wife Aurora of Morris Plains, NJ; three siblings, Jacqueline Caputo of Mount Arlington, NJ, John Appice of Toms River, NJ and Angelo Appice of Culver Lake, NJ; and two grandchildren, Damian and Devin Appice.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
