Miguel A. Torres passed away Friday morning, November 23, 2018 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville following a brief illness. He was 71.
Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he had lived in Brooklyn, NY, and Hackettstown, NJ beofre coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany 12 years ago.
Mr. Torres had worked many years in construction and maintenance. Most recently, he was employed as a maintenance worker with the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills Board of Education. He retired in 2008.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannette (nee Osorio-Arigon) Torres; a daughter, Sadia Torres of Indiana; two brothers, Rafael and Sammy; and four sisters, Lucy, Annie, Iris, and Sonya.
