Obituary of BERYL FRANCIS SCHNEIDER

Beryl Francis Schneider, a longtime resident of the Caldwells, passed away Wednesday January 16th at Morristown Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 98. Born In Montreal, Quebec, Canada she met her future husband Robert A. Schneider at Montreal Airport when he was on a 6 month assignment for the US Air Force. Bob Schneider predeceased her in May of 1980. They had lived in North Caldwell for many years with their family and she eventually moved to Caldwell prior to residing in Sunrise Assisted Living in Florham Park. Beryl was the loving Mother of Greg (Carol) of Lake Hiawatha, Karin (Greg Norris) of Lincoln Park and Lynn Sydlo of Gladstone N.J. She was the also the adoring grandmother of Kelly, Ryan, Carl, Jonathan and Stephanie and great grandmother to Averi and Kerrigan. She also leaves behind many cherished extended family in Montreal and Australia. She began her career at Toronto Dominion Bank (now US TD Bank) , then Air Canada, and in New Jersey worked for Montclair Golf Club, but primarily was a loving stay at home Mom devoted to her family and her faith.
