Obituary of MICHAEL TELLA

Michael Tella passed away peacefully Friday morning, March 8, 2019 at his home in Parsippany. He was 78. Born in Cuba, Mike immigrated to the United States in 1964, settling in Elmwood Park, NJ. he had been a resident of Parsippany since 1995. Mr. Tella was a supervisor with the Fisher Scientific Co. of Fair Lawn for 40 years, retiring in 2005. He was an active member, volunteer and familiar face at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Parish in Parsippany where he served as an usher and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus Council. Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mina (nee Iglesias) in 2010. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Rita and James Maclay of Parsippany; and three granddaughters, Kristy and Kasey Hart, and Jessica Maclay.
