Obituary of LOUISE ADDOTTA

Louise Addotta passed away peacefully Saturday morning, March 23, 2019 at the Chelsea at Montville, she was 89 years old. Louise was born in Newark to James and Carmela (nee Cafaro) Cleffi. She was raised and attended school in Newark. She had lived in East Hanover, Toms River and most recently since 2015 she resided in Montville. Louise worked as the Administrator for the Music Department at Essex County Community College until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; James and Carmela and her loving husband, Carlo Addotta who passed away in 1996. She is survived by her devoted Son Vito and his wife Nereida, and her loving granddaughter Amanda. There are many memories of Louise; most notably is that she wouldn't talk to you... she would sing to you... making light of Life's struggles. Telling you to "smile though your heart is aching". Or reminding you that "when there are clouds in the sky you'll get by", because it was "summertime and the livin' is easy". She was our Light. "Isn't she lovely"?
