Obituary of ANNA M. SAVOTOK

Anna M. Savotok (nee Plaia) passed away Tuesday evening, April 23, 2019 at Care One at Morris in Parsippany surrounded by her family several months short of her 100th Birthday. Born in New York, NY, she was raised in Brooklyn, NY, and had lived in Randolph, NJ and Morristown, NJ before moving to Montville, NJ in 2003. Mrs. Savatok was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Virgil's Roman Catholic Church in Morris Plains, NJ and a founding member of St. Virgil's Prime Time Club. Preceded in death by her loving husband Alexander Savotok in 1976, and her siblings, Charles Plaia, Anthony Plaia, Antoinette "Mary" Perrone, and Katherine D'Aleo; she is survived by her beloved daughter, Donna Purn and her husband William of Pine Brook, NJ; a sister, Margaret Scotto of Fair Lawn, NJ; six grandchildren, Michael Smith, Julia Higashio (Kenji), Jennifer Angerami (John), Kevin Purn, Brian Smith, and Alexander Purn; and four great-grandchildren, Vera Angerami, John Purn, Aki and Yuki Higashio.
