Susan Helen Spagnardi (nee Levine) passed away Thursday evening, July 25, 2019 at her Parsippany home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 66 years old.
Born in Bronx, NY, she had lived in Westwood, NJ and Fort Lee, NJ before coming to Parsippany, NJ 43 years ago.
She earned a BA in Law Enforcement from King College, Wilkes Barre, PA, and a MA in Education from Montclair State University. She also earned certifications in Special Education and Counseling from Montclair State University.
Mrs. Spagnardi was a special education teacher with the Rockaway Township, Caldwell, and Montville Township school systems for 22 years, retiring two years ago.
She enjoyed traveling the world and shooting with her family. She was a true "Annie Oakley."
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Robert C. Spagnardi; two children, Dr. Allan Spagnardi of Atlanta, GA., and Ashlee Spagnardi of New York, NY,; and a sister, Sharon Chapman of Victory Gardens, NJ.
