Obituary of KRISTIN L. ECKERT

Kristin Eckert passed away suddenly on Sunday August 18, 2019. She was 35 years old. Born in Ridgewood, NJ Kristin was raised in Garfield and Caldwell before her family moved to Parsippany, where she attended Parsippany High School. Kristin had been a school bus driver for the last 3 years working in the local Morris County area. Throughout her young life, Kristin developed a love and passion for hunting, fishing, and camping, as well as a love for the outdoors. She would travel to various locations around NJ to hunt. Setting up in the woods and enjoying her time in the outdoors. Anything that involved being outside in the fresh air gave her comfort. Kristin also loved the ocean. She would go to Sandy Hook or Wildwood and sit on the beach to enjoy the waves and the sound of the water. She truly enjoyed her time at the beach. While she spent so much time enjoying the outdoors she listened to her favorite Country music. Kristin was preceded in death by her mother; Cindy Kay Vitcavich, her maternal grandfather; Walter Vitcavich, and her paternal grandparents; Harold & Helen Eckert. She is survived by; her sister Dayna Hicks her husband Billy, their children, Kristin's beloved niece; Jazlyn and nephew; William, who lovingly called her, "Aunt Krissy", her father; Raymond his wife Lorraine from Jupiter, Fl, her maternal grandmother; Marilyn Vitcavich, her Uncle Michael Vitcavich, Uncle Steven Vitcavich and his daughter, Kristin's cousin Gianna Vitcavich, as well as; her step brother; Vince Lutrario & wife Michelle and their children; Jessica, Alissa, & Olivia of Staten Island, NY, step brother; John Lutrario, step sister; Lauren Bruno & husband Mathew, their children; Samantha Williams & Julia Bruno, all of Jupiter, FL, Kristin will be missed by all her family and all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests donations to offset the cost of funeral expenses.
