Dr. Aleksandr Moiseyvich Khazen passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Morris View Nursing Center in Morris Township. He was 86.
Born in Odessa, Ukraine, Dr. Khazen lived many years in Moscow, Russia before immigrating to the Untied States in 1993. He had lived in Budd Lake, NJ before coming to Randolph, NJ ten years ago.
Dr. Khazen earned his BA and PHD from the University of Moscow, Russia.
A scientist, he was employed for many years by the University of Moscow before retiring in 1993.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Rimma B. Khazen; three children, Igor Khazen and his wife Julia of Rockaway, NJ, Anatoly Khazen and his wife Tanya of Randolph, NJ, and Irina Karbachinskiy and her husband Michael of Basking Ridge, NJ; a sister, Elida Khazen of Virginia; and seven grandchildren.
