Too many wonderful memories to try to mention here...Fr. Brian was with us every step of the way in our lives. This included marriages, Baptisms, apple picking days at the orchard, and the family gatherings at Delbarton. We started going to these picnics so many years ago and we spent fun times in the picnic grove and at the pool. These days were VERY special to all of us.
At one point in my life I had many fruit trees on my property. Fr. Brian would enjoy visiting us and was happy to share his experience and knowledge. He was especially happy that we shared his love of gardening.
He was the "star" of our family and the one we could turn to for good advice. I was so proud to call him my cousin!
Some special times with him were spent with my Mom & Dad here at Seacrest Beach. He always made time to visit with my parents and at times spent a couple of days during the summer with them. He was "Buddy' to them. It was only a few years back that I actually learned his birth name was Hugh.
He was loved and will be greatly missed. I will think of him when I look out at the ocean that he loved. I know it brought him great peace.
