Obituary of VIRGINIA GINNY GUIDA

Virginia Guida (nee Lardiere) passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 at her home in Parsippany. She was 76. Born in Newark, She was a lifelong resident before coming to Parsippany last year. Mrs. Guida had worked with the E.J. Brooks Company of Livingston for 12 years before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Lorraine (nee DePoe) Lardiere, and her siblings, Daniel Lardiere, Joseph Lardiere, Maryann Lardiere Jones, and Lorraine Lardiere Yankowski. Survivors include her husband, Giovanni Guida Sr.; her children, Silvia Guida of Rockaway, NJ, Giovanni Guida and his companion Silvana Adipietro of Wayne, NJ, Angelo Guida and his wife Dana of Verona, NJ, and Nick Guida and his wife Cathy of Parsippany, NJ; her siblings, Cynthia Lardiere, John Lardiere, and Jerry Lardiere; seven grandchildren, Angelo, Christopher, Stephanie, Nicole, Gianna, Nicholas and Sophia; and one great-grandson, Angelo. "Ginny" as she was known by all was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. A devout Catholic, and lifetime parishioner of St. Lucy's Church in Newark, she was a hard-working, compassionate, strong, loving and forgiving woman. She loved Doo-Wop music, Bingo, playing the lottery, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her family. They were her biggest love, starting with her siblings, children, grandchildren, and her newest addition, her great-grandson.
