Obituary of LIUDMILA NUZHDINA

Liudmila Nuzhdina, age 87, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020 due to congestive heart failure. She was born on September 2, 1932 in Moscow, Russia. She lived most of her life in St. Petersburg, Russia where she met and married her husband, Ivan Nuzhdin. Liudmila and Ivan had shared their lives for over 55 years, never leaving each other's side, traveling the world together and spending a lot of time at their summer house. During her early childhood years, Liudmila survived Leningrad (St. Petersburg) siege of the World War II always remembering ordeal of those years. After graduating the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University with a Master degree in Engineering, Liudmila had worked at the different science research and engineering organizations for over 35 years. Liudmila is survived by her son Vladimir Nuzhdin, daughter-in-law Irene Nuzhdin, granddaughter Maria Dubovoy and great granddaughter Sofia Dubovoy.
