Obituary of DAVID KNIZHNIK

David Knizhnik passed away Wednesday evening, January 15, 2020 at his home in Montville Township, NJ following a brief illness. He was 85.
Born in Odessa, Ukraine, he had been a longtime resident before immigrating to the Untied States in 1993, settling in the Ivy Hill section of Newark. He was a resident of Montville Township since 1996.
Mr. Knizhnik earned his Bachelors Degree in engineering in Ukraine, and had worked as a design engineer in Ukraine. After coming to the United States, he worked in maintenance at the Parsippany Public Library.
He is survived by his loving wife, Emilia (nee Tetievskay); a beloved daughter, Renata Gelman; and two cherished granddaughters, Julia and Liala Gelman.
