Obituary of SHARDABEN R. PATEL

Shardaben R. Patel passed away Wednesday afternoon at the Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison following a brief illness. She was 76. Born in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India, she immigrated to the United States in 1989, settling in Jersey City. She had been a resident of Raritan Township for 16 years. A homemaker, Mrs. Patel was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Rameshchandra L. Patel; four children, Nita Patel of Parsippany, Pankaj Patel of Monmouth Junction, Gira Patel of Parsippany, and Nilesh Kheni of Raritan; a brother, Bhaskar Patel; a sister, Kokika Patel; and seven cherished grandchildren. IN THE INTERST OF PUBLIC HEALTH, ALL SERVICES AND CREMATION WILL BE HELD PRIVATELY BY INVITATION OF THE FAMILY.
