Obituary of RUEL E. LARMOND

Ruel Everton Larmond, affectionately known as Everton, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Morristown Medical Center following an extended illness. He was 54. Born on October 17, 1965 in Portland, Jamaica, Ruel immigrated to the United States in 1985, settling in Boonton. He had been a resident of the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany since 1990. Mr. Larmond was a graduate of Boonton High School and Morris County Vo-Tech. He had worked as a mechanic before becoming ill. Anyone who personally knew Ruel, knew he was one of the kindest people you could have ever met. He would have given the very shirt right off his back if he knew you needed it. He never let anyone or anything bother him. He was always happy and made a lot of friends within the community and wherever he went. Preceded in death by his father, Karl Larmond, Everton is survived by his loving mother, Sybil D. Beecher (Crump) of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; his beloved siblings, Veda S. Murdock of Plantation, FL, Sharon C. Simon of Lake Hiawatha, NJ, Sydroy A. Morgan of Portland, Jamaica, Calvin B. Beecher and his wife Marsha of Waukegan, IL, Bayne O. Beecher and his wife Dian of Palmetto Beach, FL, and Patricia L. Beecher of Lake Hiawatha, NJ. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews - Carrie, Debbie, Jerome, Sandy, Polly, Duvel, Kurt, Janice, Sydroy, Jasmine, Joshua, Jenessa, Joelle, Janelle, Joseph, Jaleesa, Sylene, and Peyton. IN THE INTEREST OF PUBLIC HEALTH, PRIVATE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE CONVENIENCE OF THE FAMILY AND THE INTERMENT WILL TAKE PLACE IN GREENWOOD CEMETERY IN BOONTON. A PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF EVERTON'S LIFE WILL BE SCHEDULED IN THE FUTURE.
