Obituary of PETER A. DE MAURO

Peter A. De Mauro passed away Saturday afternoon, March 28, 2020 at his home in Wayne Township, NJ, following an extended illness. He was 72.
Born in Hoboken, NJ, Mr. De Mauro was raised in Jersey City and Ridgefield, NJ and had also lived in Lauderdale Hill, FL before returning to New Jersey. He had been a resident of Wayne, NJ for the last 15 years.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was injured while on active duty.
Mr. De Mauro had worked as a self-employed general contractor in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area before retiring many years ago.
He is survived by his daughter Dawn Marie Driver and her husband Steven of Ridgefield, NJ; a sister, Lillian Boggi and her husband Jim of Towaco, NJ; and two granddaughters, Daniella and Hailey Driver.
IN THE INTEREST OF PUBLIC HEALTH, ALL SERVICES AND SUBSEQUENT CREMATION WILL BE PRIVATE. A MEMORIAL MASS WILL BE CELEBRATED AT ST. PIUS X ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, MONTVILLE IN THE FUTURE.
