Ybrahim Castro passed away Monday evening, March 30, 2020 at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. He was 85.
Born in Quemado de Guines, Cuba on May 21, 1934, he immigrated to the United States in 1970 settling in North Bergen, NJ. He was a longtime resident of Union City, NJ.
Mr. Castro had been employed with the K-Mart Company Distribution Center in North Bergen, NJ for 30 years before his retirement over 20 years ago.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Elsa O. Castro (nee Perez); his loving daughter, Janet C. Castellano; and his cherished granddaughter, Natalie Castellano.
Ybrahim was the last survivor of twelve children. He was preceded in death by his eleven siblings in Cuba.
IN THE INTERSET OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH, ALL SERVICES WILL BE PRIVATE FOR THE IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY.
