Obituary of ANDREW K. FOUROUNJIAN

Andrew K. Fourounjian, "Andy" passed away April 12, 2020 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 64. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Andy was raised in Weehawken and Ridgefield, NJ and settled in Parsippany 31 years ago. Andy was a 1978 graduate of St.John's University in New York, where he earned a BS in Pharmacy. He was a longtime pharmacist, a member of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church of Parsippany and was a NY Yankees fan; Yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Virginia Fourounjian, and his brother-in-law, George Sowinski. Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Sara A. (nee Castrovinci); his three cherished daughters and their husbands, Alison Paitchell (Jeffrey) of Hoboken, Nicole Silva (Michael) of Boonton, and Krista Tamny (Michael) of Parsippany; his beloved brother and sister, Paul Fourounjian (Margaret) of Denville and Linda Marotta (Mark) of Rockaway; his dear mother-in-law Elizabeth Verdiano; and his much loved siblings-in-law, Elizabeth ("Lizbit") Sowinski, Laura and John Burke, Connie and James Bernardo, and Joseph and Miriam Castrovinci. Andy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends including Jeff, John-Claude, Mike and Tom. A memorial mass will be held at a later date in Andy's honor.
