Nick Angione passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Care One Harmony Village at Paramus, NJ following an extended illness. He was 87. Born in Molfetta, Italy, He immigrated to the United States in 1947 with his father, settling in Hoboken, NJ. He had also lived in Union City, NJ, Wallington, NJ, and Wayne, NJ before coming to Paramus, NJ two years ago. Mr. Angione was the proprietor of Nick Angione Fashions in Hoboken before his retirement 27 years ago. Previously, he was the co-owner of Lucy Rose Anna Fashions, located in the very same building in Hoboken. He was a member of the Inner Circle Social Club and the Savoia Club, both of Hoboken. Nick is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Marianna (nee DePinto) Angione; his three loving children, Sergio Angione and his wife, Rita of Towaco, NJ, Toni Ziangos and her husband, Chris of Holtsville, NY, and Nick Angione of Wallington, NJ; and eight grandchildren, Alicia Angione, Nicholas Angione, Patrick Dorman, Steven Dorman, Adrian Ziangos, Alex Angione, Jacqueline Angione, and Nico Angione. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful or memorial gifts in Nick's honor to either the Alzheimer's Association (www.alzheimers.org) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org). IN THE INTEREST OF PUBLIC HEALTH, ALL SERVICES AND THE ENTOMBMENT AT HOLY CROSS CHAPEL MAUSOLEUM IN NORTH ARLINGTON WILL BE PRIVATE. A PUBLIC MEMORIAL WILL BE HELD IN THE FUTURE. PLEASE KEEP THE FAMILY IN YOUR PRAYERS AT THIS DIFFICULT TIME.
