Obituary of FRANCESCO S. SCORPO

Francesco Sebastiano Scorpo, Sr., passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. He was 34. Born in Wayne, NJ, he was raised in West Paterson and Wayne, and moved to Montville Township in 2014. Frank attended Wayne Valley High School, where he played for the Varsity Football Team. He earned his Bachelors Degree in History from William Paterson University in 2009. A member of the Class #115, Frank graduated from the Bergen County Police Academy in 2015. He was a proud Law Enforcement Officer with the City of Paterson. He served in both the Patrol and Traffic Divisions, and loved being a police officer. Frank was a devoted family man; a beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He is survived by his wife, Kristina R. Scorpo, BSN, RN, (nee Della Pia); his two sons, Francesco S. Jr and Santino G. Scorpo; his parents, Sebastiano & Anna (nee DiBerardino) of Wayne; his twin, Paolo Scorpo and his brother, Carmelo Scorpo and his wife Jennifer, and their three sons, all of Wayne; his father and mother-in-law, Gregory and Gloria Della Pia, and his sister-in-law, Alexandra Della Pia all of Towaco. Funeral Services will be private. A public celebration of Frank's life will be scheduled in the future. In lieu of flowers, the family would be most grateful for memorial gifts to Paterson PBA Local 1.
