Norma Bonwit (nee Macusi) passed away Saturday morning, April 11, 2020 at Genesis/ Troy Hills Nursing Home in Parsippany, NJ. She was 80.
Born in Baguio City, Philippines, she immigrated to the United States in 1968. She had lived in New York ,NY and in Pennsylvania. She also lived in East Hanover, NJ before coming to Parsippany 8 years ago.
Ms. Bonwit earned her nursing degree while living in the Philippines.
A registered nurse, she had worked as a psychiatric nurse with various hospitals in Pennsylvania preceding her retirement 10 years ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Maria Christina Deguzman; and her three sisters, Carmen Dingle of Roseville, CA, Virginia Kitson of Derby, England, and Eldora Vivar of Roseville, CA.
