Julio Andres Peralta passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Fort Tryon Rehabilitation Center in Manhattan, NY. He was 83.
Born and raised in Santiago, Dominican Republic, he immigrated to the United States in 1964, settling in New York, NY.
Mr. Peralta was the owner of the Hamilton Laundromat in New York for many years preceding his retirement 30 years ago.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Eva Duran Peralta; two children, Delia Paulino and her husband Fernando of Parsippany, NJ, and Jose Duran Peralta of New York, NY; eight grandchildren, William, Eva, Fernando, Elsy, Diana, Randy, Stephany, and Emanuel; and three great-grandchildren, Elay, Leah, and Elyssa.
