Obituary of SIDDHRAJSINH N. SOLANKI

On Saturday, April 18, 2020, Siddhrajsinh N. Solanki passed away at the age of 76 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson following a brief illness. Mr. Solanki was born March 20, 1944 in Anita, India to Naharsinh and Devima Solanki. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Education and worked as a teacher at the Takarma High School in Takarma, India. He and his family immigrated to the United States in 1980, settling in Passaic, NJ. Upon arriving in the U.S., he worked in various industries for 35 years before retiring four years ago. Known for his kind demeanor, compassionate soul, and pure heart, Mr. Solanki spent his life in service of his family, friends, and community, for whom he showed unconditional love. He had a passion for literature, philosophy, and writing, often composing poems dedicated to the many people he cared about. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kusumben; four children, Dharmendra, Pravina, Jignesh, and Jayesh; brother Dhirajsinh Solanki; three sisters, Takhatben Gharia, Dhanuben Gohil, and Ramanben Matieda; and six grandchildren. A virtual viewing of the Funeral Service will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, April 22md at 9:00 AM ET, and a private Cremation Ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 23rd at 8:30 AM ET.
