Obituary of GIOVANNI CROCCO

Giovanni Crocco passed away suddenly Thursday morning, April 23, 2020 at his home in Montville Township. He was 78. Born in Luzzi, Cosenza, Italy he immigrated to the United States in 1970 settling in Belleville, NJ. He had also lived in West Paterson, NJ, before coming to Montville Township, NJ in 1997. A mason by trade, Mr. Crocco had been the proprietor of Giovanni Crocco Masonry for many years before retiring in 1997. He was a parishioner of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Montville. Mr. Crocco is survived by his wife of 50 years, Maria (nee Giancarelli); three children, Angela Carrington of Montville, Augustino Crocco of Atlantic City, and John Crocco of Montville; and eight siblings, Rosaria Giancarelli and Rosa Canova both of Bloomfield, NJ, and Santon, Mario, Tony, Francesco, Pina, and Eva all of Italy.
