Marie M. Harrigan (nee Baran), 90 passed away on Sunday April 26, 2020 at the House of the Good Shepherd in Hackettstown. Born & raised in Bayonne she moved to Hamilton Square and then Parsippany where she lived for 50 years, before moving to Hackettstown. She was a parishioner of St. Peter's the Apostle Church in Parsippany. Marie was a mother & housewife who was well known for her cooking & entertaining. She was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed spending time with her family & friends. She worked as an interior decorator for her husband at Castro Convertibles, after she worked as an Administrative assistant at Arthur R. Johnson textiles. She then became a realtor for Prudential Horizon Realty in Mountain Lakes from where she retired. Marie was predeseased by her daughter Margaret (Peggy). She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Edward. She is also survived by Brian & his wife Debbie, Jack & his wife Carol, and Maura. She was the loving grandmother of Christine, Jimmy, Tommy, Liam & Patrick and Great grandmother to Kayden. In the interest of public health, arrangements will be private. A Memorial Mass & celebration of Marie's life will be scheduled at a later date.
