Obituary of WILLIAM R. SLOAN

William R. Sloan passed away Tuesday evening, May 5, 2020 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. He was 56. Born in Irvington, NJ, he was a resident of New Jersey for many years, and later Aurora, Colorado. He was a resident of the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany at the time of his passing. William (BIll) had worked as a machine builder his whole life before becoming ill. He was a man with a good heart and a pleasant demeanor. He loved to camp, be outdoors, and could fix anything. He is survived by his former wife & friend, Donna Sloan, his sister and brother in law, Patty and Gary Battito, his nieces, Megan & Morgan Battito; his children Christopher & Kelly Sloan; and his step sons, Derek & Blake Hrabal. ALL SERVICES AND INTERMENT AT GATE OF HEAVEN, EAST HANOVER, WERE HELD PRIVATELY. PLEASE KEEP THE FAMILY IN YOUR PRAYERS AT THIS DIFFICULT TIME.
