Gloria Rose Mainenti (nee Centanni) passed away evening May 12, 2020 at the House of the Good Shepherd IN Hackettstown, NJ. She was 92.
Born and raised in Newark, NJ she had been a resident of Parsippany for 47 years. She resided briefly in Randolph Township, before moving to the House of the Good Shepherd in 2020.
Mrs. Mainenti worked as a secretary and bookkeeper with the Wilson Avenue school in Newark for 30 years before her retirement 26 years ago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Mainenti, and her siblings, James Centanni (Rose), Frances Castelluccio (William), Ralph Centanni (Rachel), and Marie Guida (Louis Sr.).
Survivors include her loving children, Patrice A. Mainenti of Stanhope, NJ and John Mainenti of Stanhope; a brother, Edward Centanni (Edith) of Tinton Falls, NJ; and three grandchildren, Chris (Irina), Mike, and Nicole (Steven).
In the interest of public health, all services and entombment at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum will be private. Please keep the family in your prayers at this difficult time.
