Obituary of ROBERT J. JOHNSON

Robert J. Johnson, III passed away suddenly Monday, May 25, 2020 at his home in the Budd Lake section of Mount Olive Township. He was 66. Born in Montclair, NJ he was raised in Caldwell and had lived in Montclair and Sparta before moving to Mount Olive Township 20 years ago. Mr. Johnson had been a self-employed carpenter, retiring five years ago. Robert enjoyed boating and fishing on the Jersey Shore. He also enjoyed camping with his children, Kerry and Kyle and their many adventures together. Survivors include his children, Kyle Johnson and his wife Heather of Georgia, and Kerry Johnson of Florida; two sisters, Kathleen Madden of Flanders and Karen Johanson and her husband John of Long Beach Township; his newborn grandson, Brennan Mark Johnson; several nieces and nephews, and his "little critters." In the interest of public health, all services and interment at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield will be private. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) would be appreciated. Please keep the family in your prayers at this difficult time.
