Obituary of GERARDO JERRY DA HAMMER GARCIA

Gerardo "Jerry Da Hammer" Garcia age fifty-five, of Parsippany New Jersey, passed away early June 15th, 2020 due to a cardiac event. Jerry Gerardo Garcia was born in Mexico on May 27th, 1965. He graduated from West Morris Mendham High School, class of 1985, where he made some of his strongest friendships and fondest memories. Jerry was one of those true friends that you get once in a lifetime. He had a smile that would light up a room and a contagious laugh. He was a friend you could always count on, an uncle that was always there, a brother to share a drink with and a son that was always loved. He was smart and witty with a sense of humor and personality to be the life of any party. Caring and affectionate he would give you the shirt off his back or the hand to lead you out of a dark place. Jerry worked as a communications expert for Knoll Gardens Apartments. He loved to watch the Arizona Cardinals "The cardinal is a ferocious animal descendant of the pterodactyl" or sit and watch a NASCAR race. He was also a very talented artist and loved to draw. He was also very involved with his faith and would enjoy reading the bible. "Da Hammer" is survived by his nieces Crystal and Angela and his great friends Geannie, and Shawn. Jerry is preceded in death by his brother, Jack; his mother, Asuncion; and his father, Isaias.
