Obituary of YET HAI CHEN

Yet Hai Chen passed away peacefully June 27, 2020 at his home in the Towaco section of Montville. He was 99. Born in Canton, China, he had lived in Taiwan before immigrating to the United States in 1978. He had lived in New York ,NY before coming to Towaco 25 years ago. Mr. Chen was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lucy Hsia Chen in 2016; and his loving daughter, Chu Hsia Chen earlier this year. Survivors include six children, Vivian Cavanero and her husband, David of Flushing, NY, Kim Chen of Towaco. NJ, Esther Chen of Greenwich, CT, John Chen and his wife, Tatjana Lin of Flushing, NY, May Chen of Towaco, NJ, and Shan Chen and her husband, Roy Shojaati of Towaco, NJ; three grandchildren, Jessica Lee Wohler and her husband, Justin, Robert Cavanero, and Sarada Chen; and two great-grandchildren, Odin and Byrne Wohler. Visitation and cremation were held privately at the family's request.
