Obituary of Maureen Ann McKenna

Mrs. Maureen Ann (nee Walsh) McKenna died Wednesday morning, January 5, 2005 at the Porter Hospice at Johnson Center in Littleton, Colorado. She had been vacationing in Colorado with family when she took ill. She was 65. Born and raised in New York, NY, she had lived in Bronx, NY before coming to Parsippany thirty five years ago. Mrs. McKenna had worked as a medical secretary with the Union Camp Company in Wayne for many years before retiring five years ago. Previously, she had worked as a secretary for the Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce. She was a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church in Parsippany. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Peter E. McKenna; two sons, Peter J. McKenna and his wife Pam of Highlands Ranch, CO. and Timothy F. McKenna and his wife Sabrina of Centenial, CO.; a daughter, Colleen Reich and her husband Jack of Parsippany; three sisters, Kathleen Reid of Staten Island, NY, Eileen Waitikus of Florida, and Carol Kubilus and her husband Michael of Yonkers, NY; and seven grandchildren, Ailene, Katie, Shane, Kyra, Sydney, Jessica, and Abigail.
