Obituary of Pietro Pappalardo

Mr. Pietro Pappalardo died Monday morning, January 17, 2005 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. He was 89. Born in Italy, Mr. Pappalardo emigrated to the United States thirty seven years ago, settling in Brooklyn, NY. He had lived in Orange before moving to Parsippany fifteen years ago. Mr. Pappalardo had served in the Italian Navy during World War II. A mason by trade, he had worked in that capacity with various companies, most recently Forgione Construction in Orange for ten years, retiring in 1980. Survivors include his wife of 64 years Angelina (nee Greco), a daughter Rosa Occhipinti and her husband Giovanni of Parsippany; a son Santo Pappalardo and his wife Graziella of Italy; and four grandchildren.
