Obituary of HENRY A. BARBRACK

Mr. Henry A. Barbrack died Saturday morning, March 19, 2005 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville following a brief illness. He was 90.
Born and raised in Manhattan, NY, he had live in Astoria, NY before moving to Parsippany in 1968.
Mr. Barbrack had worked as a model maker with the Beckman Instrument Company in Cedar Grove for 15 years before retiring in 1980. Previously, he had worked in the same capacity with the Gibson-Cox Company in Manhattan, NY, as a machinist with the Nordon Bomb Site in Manhattan, NY, and as a product engineer with the Manifold Supply Company of Brooklyn, NY.
An avid model enthusiast, and a member of the Ship Model Society of Northern New Jersey (SBSNNJ), Mr. Barbrack had worked on the model of the Battleship U.S.S. Missouri which is on display in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C.
He was a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Parsippany, and the church's Adult Choir and Golden Age Club. He was also a member of the Jolly Rounders of Parsippany and volunteered at the Cheshire Home in Florham Park.
He was preceeded in death by his beloved wife Fedalma (nee Malanga) in 1998.
Survivors include: his son Hank G. Barbrack and his wife Mary Jane of Parsippany; his daughter Barbara Ritenour and her husband Wayne of North Windsor, Maryland; a brother Christopher Barbrack of Whiting; a sister Irene Kruger of Howard Beach, NY; eight grandchildren, Kathleen Biesiadecki and her husband Tim, Trish Cregg and her husband Chris, Greg Barbrack and his wife Jen, Doug Barbrack and his wife Liz, Jim Barbrack and his wife Amy, Loretta Himler and her husband Doug, Dan Galloway and his wife Melanie and Pam Becker and her husband Andrew, and 15 great-grandchildren.
