Obituary of BROKHA GORUBEN

Mrs. Brokha Goruben died Friday afternoon, May 19, 2005, at her home in Parsippany. She would have celebrated her 100th birthday in July. Born in Tula, Russia, Mrs. Goruben had emigrated to the United States several years ago, settling in Parsippany. She had worked as a book keeper with an advertising agency in St. Petersburg, Russia for many years before retiring over 30 years ago. Survivors include her daughter Margarita Goruben and her husband Issac Ashkinazi of Parsippany; a sister, Yelena Goruben; two grandchildren, Marina Rabinovitz and Lev Ashkinazi; and three great-grandchildren Simon Rabinovich and Ana and Gabriel Ashkinazi.
