Obituary of ARCHANGELA MAINENTI

Mrs. Archangela (nee Di Giovanni) Mainenti died suddenly Saturday morning, July 9, 2005 at her daughter's home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. She was 87. Born in Corleone, Palermo, Italy, she immigrated to the United States as a baby and was raised in Garfield. She had lived many years in Saddle Brook before moving to Lake Hiawatha 2 years ago. Mrs. Mainenti had worked as a seamstress with the Supercraft Company of Garfield for 20 years before her retirement over 30 years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph S. Mainenti and a son Richard Mainenti. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Storms and her husband Vern of Lake Hiawatha; her son, Charles "Chuck" Mainenti and his wife Barbara of Hilton Head, South Carolina; three sisters, Lucia Gambino of Virginia, Sylvia Wagnecz of Dover, and Evelyn Costanzo of Allendale, three grandchildren, David, Karen, and Jason; and a great-grandson, Marco.
