Obituary of JOHANNA M. LIPP

Mrs. Johanna M. (nee Scheerer) Lipp died peacefully Monday, October 17, 2005 at her home in East Hanover following a long illness. She was 101. Born in Bockenging, Germany, she came to the United States as a teen settling in Newark. She had lived in Franklin and Lake Stockholm for twenty years before moving to East Hanover over fifty years ago. Mrs. Lipp had been a cafeteria worker with the East Hanover School System and later with Morristown Memorial Hospital before retiring many years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Lipp, a daughter, Carol Mitchell, and a step-son Manfred Lipp. Survivors include a daughter Charlotte Boise and her husband John of East Hanover; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
