Obituary of CARMELA M. SARENAS

Ms. Carmela (nee Marcaida) Sarenas died Thursday evening, December 22, 2005 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville following a sudden illness. She was 51. Born in Cebu City, Philippiners, she had lived most of her life there before immigrating to the United Sates in 1992, settling in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. Ms. Sarenas was a graduate of the Trinity College in the Philippines. She was employed as a certified nurse's aide with Franciscan Oaks Health Center in Denville for the last 12 years. Previously, she worked in the same capacity with the Hilltop Nursing Home formerly in Pine Brook. She was a member of the El Shaddai Assembly of God in Morris Plains. Survivors include her children, Kristine, John Paul, and Katrina all at home; and three brothers, Manolito, Ramon, and Benny Marcaida all of the Philippines.
