Obituary of JOHN J. CIMIS

John J. Cimis went home to Heaven on Wednesday afternoon, January 25, 2006 following a brief illness. He was 43. Born in Paterson, he had been a lifelong resident of the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. A 1982 graduate of Parsippany High School, John had worked as an assembler with Employment Horizons in Cedar Knolls for 22 years before attending the Hanover Adult Training Center in Whippany 3 years ago. John was a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Parsippany, was an avid bowler, and had spent many years as a participant in the Special Olympics. He also loved time spent with his family in Cape May. Survivors include his parents Jim and Judy (nee Manfra) Cimis of Lake Hiawatha; two sisters, Lori Lusardi and her husband Terrence of Morris Plains, and Anna Marie Tucker and her husband David of The Woodlands, Texas; his six nieces and nephews, Amanda, Stephanie, Brady, Beth, Payton, and Jessica; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
