Obituary of NADINE S. NEWMAN

Mrs. Nadine (nee Shaw) Newman died Monday morning, April 24, 2006 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville following a long illness. She was 65. Born and raised in Tallassie, Alabama, she had lived in Teaneck before moving to the Pine Brook section of Montville over 30 years ago. Mrs. Newman had worked as an office manager with Mead Johnson Nutritionals in Paramus for over twenty years before becoming ill. She was a member of the Transfiguration Episcopal Church in Towaco where she had been involved in many ministries. She was also a former Cub Scout Den Mother and PTA volunteer in Montville. Survivors include: her husband of 44 years, Willie J. Newman; a daughter, Lisa Coye of Pine Brook; two sons, Jesse Newman of Wales, United Kingdom and Jeffrey Newman of Pine Brook; three sisters, Mary King, Hazel Dunn, and Florene Hudson all of Birmingham, Alabama; two brothers, Leroy Shaw of Birmingham, Alabama and Johnny Frank Shaw of Tallassie, Alabama; and two grandchildren, Jazmine Coye and Paris Newman.
