Obituary of MICHAEL J. PROWSE

Michael James Prowse died Monday morning, May 15, 2006 surrounded by his family at Morristown Memorial Hospital following a valiant battle with lung cancer. He was 46. Born in Teaneck, NJ, he lived in Dumont and Parsippany before moving to Lake Hiawatha 14 years ago. Mr. Prowse earned a bachelor of science degree from the Renselear Polytechnical Institute in Troy, NY in 1982. He had worked as a sales manager with the Siemans Company in Florham Park and Pine Brook for the laast 18 years. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Prowse. Mr. Prowse was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Church in Parsippany, the Parsippany High School Band Boosters, and was a Den Master with Cub Scout Pack 177, Den 12 of Lake Hiawatha. He was also a member of the National Fire Prevention Association. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Theresa Ann (nee Napolitano); a daughter, Sarah E. Prowse of Boston, MA.; two sons, Nicholas C. Prowse and Zachary M. Prowse both at home; his mother Ann (nee Carbone) Breazzano of Florida; five brothers, Robert Prowse of Emerson, Eliot Prowse of Loanaka Harbor, Timothy Prowse of Fair Lawn, Thomas Prowse of Butler, and David Prowse of Bethlehem, PA; two sisters, Roseann Frielink of National Park and Yvonne Prowse of San Francisco, CA; his aunt, Maryann Tarantula of Bergenfield; and his cousins, Sherry Ardito and John Tarantula.
