Mr. Steven Tuzio died Saturday, August 12, 2006 Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was 49.
Born in Jersey City, he had lived in New Milford before moving to Rockaway twenty years ago.
Mr. Tuzio was a sheet metal worker with the Local #25 in Carlstadt for 25 years.
He was a coach and manager with the Rockaway Township Football, Baseball, and Basketball teams. He was a member of the Rockaway Men's Softball League. A sports enthusiast, he loved the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.
Survivors include his wife Karen (nee Taylor) Tuzio; a son, Ryan; a daughter, Danielle; his mother Delphine Tuzio; his father and step-mother, John and Barbara Tuzio; three brothers, Michael, Thomas, and John Tuzio; three sisters, Laura, Karen and Cheryl; and several nieces and nephews.
