Mrs. Maria (nee Garcia) Martinez died Saturday morning, November 11, 2006 at Atlantic Hospice at Care One in Morristown. She was 90.
Born and raised in Havanna, Cuba, she emigrated to the United States in 1970, settling in Union City. She also lived in West New York before coming to Morris Township 3 years ago.
Survivors include: her husband of 71 years, Juan J. Martinez; two sons, Orlando of Jersey City and Eduardo of Parsippany; a daughter, Gladys D'Amico of Stanhope; five grandchldren and three great-grandchildren.
