Obituary of OLIVER MATTHEW BALLENTINE

Oliver Matthew Ballentine, known to friends as Matthew, died suddenly, Wednesday afternoon, January 24, 2006. He was 23. Born in Livingston, he had been a lifelong resident of Lake Valhalla in Montville. He was a 2001 graduate of Montville High School and had attended Salve Regina College in Rhode Island. He worked as a carpenter in his father's construction business, Bruce Ballentine Inc. of Montville. Matthew was an avid fisherman, snowboarder and sportsman. Survivors include: his parents, Bruce M. and Patricia A. Ballentine; a sister, Vanessa J. Ballentine; his paternal grandparents, Oliver Matthew and Donna Jean Ballentine; his maternal grandmother Jeanne Yodice; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
