Wish I could've known your Mom. I must wonder, was she as funny as you, Angelica? Was she as thoughtful as you? Was she as family oriented as you? I'm sure she was or you wouldn't be the way you are.
By the way your family spoke at her service she was a loving, caring, Mom, Grandmother and friend. She lived a good long life and now she is in peace.
I will keep her and you in my prayers.

My dear Grandma, your mission here for God is now complete. You have touched so many people during your life. Now God has brought back home to him live in peace. Words can't begin to describe the admiration I have for you. You are by far the strongest, most dedicated, loving woman I have ever known. The memories you have brought to my life are so special. The stories around the dining room table, the laughs, the hugs and the kisses, all have a special place in my heart. My father, Ben, was a great man. A strong, caring, honest man who's family values surpassed all. Those characteristics came from you. I have missed my Dad so much for so many years. Knowing you and he will be joined together, that he will have his mother there to take care of him is comforting. I will miss you Grandma very much. Please tell my Dad I love him very much and give him a kiss for me. We shall be together again some day. Until than just know how much we all love you.

Grandma, to lose someone you love and respect so much is always a tough situation to overcome. I truly believe that when God feels you have completed your mission on this Earth you earned the right to be with him. You earned the right to feel no more pain, no more anger, no more sorrow. You are rewarded with happiness, comfortness and all the great blessings in Heaven. I will always thank you and appreciate you for the father you gave me for the first 23 years of my life. Your son Ben, my dad, has and always will be the biggest inspiration in my life. It's the way you raised him, taught him honesty, to be respectful, truthful and how to be a man that made him a strong minded person. Through his strength from your guidance, I have become a man, a husband and a father. I will continue to be the best family man I can be in yours and my dad's honor. I will always remember visiting with you during the holidays and your awesome homemade dishes. I will never forget listening to Uncle Bobby's, Uncle Em's and Dads stories at the dining room table. Little Louie and me playing tackle football in the hallway with everyone tripping over us. The candy dish, YUM!!! Most of all, I will never forget your soft hands on my cheeks, pulling my face towards yours to give me that special grandma kiss. Now you will be able to do that to my dad, your son, Ben once again. You take care of each other and tell my dad I LOVE HIM!!! And remember, I LOVE YOU!!!

Dear Mom, my second mom, but always tops in my heart. I always felt like family because of your loving way. Your heart was so much bigger than anyone could know. You worked hard to keep family together, which is hard with so many dynamic personalities that I love so much. I will miss you. I will miss stopping by for coffee, I'll miss the Holiday dinners, and especially miss your lasagna. I will miss you dearly. Your loving daughter-in-law, Christine

I lack the eloquence to put my thoughts of Mom into words. These are two poems that could not be a more perfect reflection: Sometimes I still catch myself thinking "when I phone, I can tell her this or that", then I remember I'm alone. She was always there to answer my calls, to listen to my small talk or when I climbed the walls. At times I didn't feel like talking and somehow she understood, she didn't say she wished I'd call or make me feel like I should. Now I wish I would have called more times to show I cared, to tell her how important were all those times we shared. I could have shown my love, so much more than I did. I never did it enough, not even as a kid. Now it's too late to do or say all those things I wish I had - no way to ease the pain inside when my heart is sad. She was my "anchor" to this life, the "rock" that I clung to, the place where I could turn, when nowhere else would do. Now the ravages of time have worn my "rock" away and all I have to cling to are memories of yesterday. So, if roses grow in heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me, place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her I love her and I miss her and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile. Remembering her is easy, I do it every day but there's an ache inside my heart that will never go away.

Dearest Mia,
I know that the past few years we really did not see each other and I'm sorry for that. When I first met George 15 years ago and I was living in Bloomfield, We were only dating a week and he brought me to your apartment to meet you, He couldn't wait for us to meet. When we met we were talking over coffee and talking about italian traditions and certain italian dishes, It was like i was talking to my grandmother, I felt like I knew you my whole life. You always made me feel welcome and that I was immediately part of the family. You were an amazingly strong little lady and I will never forget you or our little talks. God bless you always!
Love,
Danielle

Dear Mia,
I'am so heartbroken to have lost one of the most wonderful people in my life. Growing up I have always heard the stories of your struggles and how much you loved all of your kids and did whatever you needed to do to make sure they were all taken care of. You were one of the strongest but yet one of the smallest people:)I've known and I have always admired you. I only wish that you and my kids knew each other better. The few times Gianna & Niko met you, They have never forgotten you. I'm so sorry you never had the chance to see our new babies. I know you would have adored them. Mia, I hope taht you have no more aches and pains and that you are reunited with uncle Benny. You will make a beautiful angel, I'm sure of it. God bless you and keep you by his side.
Love Always,
Your Grandson George

Dear Mia,
You are the Worlds greatest grandma. One to be proud of. You deserve a metal for your heart of gold. You raised 6 children on your own and did a fine job. I wish I had your strength. You were a "tough cookie" when you had to be, you never backed down, you fought for those you love, yet you were the sweetest angel. I will always have you in my heart and memories. All the fun times when I slept at your house when i was younger and I'd come to your door for coffe as a todler. I can't even begin to express how thankful I am that you are my Mia and how much i love you and miss you. Rest in peace Mia. Until I join you and Uncle Benny one day. Take good care of each other. You are my Angel Mia. I love you. xoxoxo

May you rest in peace! You have been with us for a long time and it's not the same now to have to say goodbye. I always seen you as immortal sometimes, you were the toughest woman I have ever known or heard of. You deserve alot of credit for raising a large family as you did and a wonderful job of it.
I wish you were able to see Jill and I be married...you would be so proud of her as all of the family is.
I will keep you now in my prayers until we reunite again one day.
Please say hello to Uncle Benny for me.
