Mr. Francis X. Henry died Thursday morning, April 19, 2007 at Care One in Parsippany. He was 80.
Born in Harrison he was raised in Kearny and had lived in Montville and most recently Parsippany.
Mr. Henry served with the United States Navy in the Pacific Theatre during World War II.
He had worked as a printer with Barton Press in Newark for 20 years. He later worked for the Parsippany-Troy Hills Board of Education for 20 years as head custodian at the Lake Hiawatha School, retiring in 1993.
Mr. Henry was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Fairfield and Pompton Plains posts.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jennie Mae (nee Keenoy) in 1997.
Survivors include: a son, Frank A. Henry and his wife Mary Ann of Montville; a daughter, Deborah L. Pawlikowski and her husband Gerald of Pompton Plains; 4 grandchildren, Melynda Dewey, Dawn Pawlikowski, Philip Henry, and Amelia Henry; and one great-grandson, Connor Dewey.
