Mr. William G. Butler died peacefully Tuesday morning, July 31, 2007 at his home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany followinbg a long illness. He was 91.
Born in Toronto, Canada, he had lived in Belleville, Harrison, Eatontown, and Parsippany before moving to Lake Hiawatha in 2005.
Mr. Butler had worked as a macinist with Alexander-Sawyer Co. in Newark before retiring 26 years ago. Previously, he had worked as a welder with Heyer Products in Belleville. He had also been a sargeant with the Auxillary Police in Belleville.
His wife of 68 years , Clara E. (nee Luettchau) died in 2005.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Bagdon of Lake Hiawatha; three granchildren, Diane and her husband Joe, Rob and his wife Michelle, and Linda and her partner Vicki; five great-grandchildren, Joseph, Michael, Robert, Andrea, and Amanda; and two great-great-grandchildren, Kayla Marie and Joseph William.
