Obituary of MARY GABRIELLA KINNEY MANZIONE

Mary Gabriella Kinney Manzione died peacefully Friday morning, August 10, 2007 at her home in Boonton. She was 97. Born in Atlantic City, she lived most of her life in Paterson before moving to Whiting in 1984. She later lived briefly in Kinnelon before moving to Boonton in 1999. Mrs. Manzione was a 1932 graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital, School of Nursing, Paterson. She was employed as a registered nurse with St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson and later the Preakness Hospital in Wayne before retiring in 1979. She was a member of the Little Sisters of the Poor Auxillary, Totowa and the Preakness Hospital Auxillary, Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Frank A. Manzione in 1973. Survivors include: two daughters, Mary F. Egan and her husband William and Gabriella Brandeal and her husband Patrick all of Boonton; a son, Frank A. Manzione Jr. of Morristown; a sister Cecelia Fox of Whiting; two granddaughters, Jennifer Eelman and her husband Michael and Michelle Gonzalez and her husband Glenn; and two great-grandchildren, Rachel and Christopher Eelman.
