Obituary of ANGELA R. CANTERINO

Angela Raffaella Canterino passed away peacefully, Saturday morning September 8, 2007 at her home in the Towaco section of Montville. She was 73. Born in Gioia Del Colle, Italy she immigrated to the United States many years ago. She had lived in Towaco for the last 46 years. Mrs. Canterino had studied music at the Conservatory of Music in Italy and became a concert pianist. She devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren; taking great pride in their accomplishments. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, generosity and music. Her beloved husband, Dr. Peter J. Canterino died in 2002. Survivors include a daughter, Lucretia Armenti and her husband Dr. Wayne of Pine Brook; a son, Dr. Joseph C. Canterino and his wife Paula of Sea Girt; a sister, Dr. Pina Del Monaco of Italy; and four grandchildren, Joseph, Peter, Robert, and Leah.
