Obituary of CLIFFORD J. MELESKY

Mr. Clifford John Melesky died Friday, January 25, 2008 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover following a long illness. He was 89. Born in Harrison, he had lived in Kearny before moving to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany over 50 years ago. Mr. Melesky was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the European Theatre during World War II. He was a participant at the Battle of the Bulge. He had worked as a pipefitter with the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters, Local 274 of Jersey City retiring in 1981. He was a member of the union for 65 years. Survivors include his wife of 57 years Irene (nee Tarasiewicz); two daughters, Marie Wright of Camden, DE., and Carol Handville of Rio Grande, NJ; a sister, Claire McCarrick of Moab, UT. and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
