Obituary of DOLORES H. ROSS

Mrs. Dolores H. (nee Heintzelman) Ross died peacefully Sunday afternoon, February 10, 2008 surrounded by her family at her home in the Hawk Pointe community of Washington Township, NJ. She was 75.
Born in Sunbury, PA, she was raised in Groton, CT., and had lived in Conyngham, PA, Flourtown, PA, and Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, before moving to Chatham Township where she had lived for 30 years before recently moving to Washington Township. She and her husband Bob Ross also maintained a home at the PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, FL for many years.
Mrs. Ross had worked as a real estate broker for many years, most recently with Weichert Realtors Chatham office for over 15 years, retiring in 1995.
She was a bridge enthusiast and an avid golfer at the PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Baltustrol Golf Club in Springfield, NJ.
She wsa preceded in death by her son, Bruce R. Ross in 1975, as well as her parents Merritt and Thelma Heintzelman and her in-laws Henry and Lucy Ross.
Survivors include: her loving husband of 55 years, Robert A. "Bob" Ross; a son, Bryan A. Ross of Montville Township, NJ; a sister Janice O'Pezio and her husband Larry of Florida; a brother, Carl Heintzelman and his wife Lisa of Rhode Island; her in-laws Lyette Baker, Ronald J. Ross and his wife Barbara, Karlyne Dallaire, and Susan Ross; and many nieces and nephews.
